When I retired 10 yrs ago, I took up the game of golf after not having played for 30 years. I took lessons at many places throughout the years (too many to name) and I can honestly say that Paul Gleitz has made the biggest positive impact to my game. At the beginning of the 2013 season, I was frustrated with my game because of a lack of consistency. I began looking for yet another instructor. My son, who took many lessons from PGA pros, pointed out my tendency to take the club too far inside during the take away. I knew I had this problem but did not know how to correct it despite practicing. During my first visit with Paul, when he brought up my tendency to take the club too far inside, I knew Paul would be the right instructor for me. Out of all the lessons I have taken, he was the only instructor who helped me correct this problem. I started the season with a 15 plus handicap, ended with an 11.4 and am confident the 2014 season will see even more improvement. I am striving for a handicap in the single digits. I have gained consistency, my ball flight is much straighter, and many of my golf partners have commented on the improvement of my game. Bob Wong
Testimonial for Paul Gleitz I discovered Paul through the Hank Haney network of coaches. Having been a former student of Haney's many years ago in Dallas, I was excited to find someone in the Denver area who was trained to teach his system. I was not disappointed, Paul has a commanding understanding of Hank's methodology and applies it in a professional and very patient manner. My scores improved immediately and Paul and I agreed on a plan for success. Paul is also incredibly patient with kids, he did an excellent job introducing my 5-year old son Alex to the game and provided him some solid skills to begin his journey in Golf. I would strongly recommend Paul to anyone of any skill level. He can help you cut strokes from your scores. Kevin Tapply Paul Gleitz Golf Instructor I have taken several lessons from Paul and I can relate to how he teaches. He watches and listens to your concerns and then he is able to evaluate your problems and explain and show you how to overcome your issues. Paul is very good with young students he gave lessons to my grandchildren and they liked his way of teaching also. Jerry Capra
Paul corrected my swing and got me from double bogey to bogey golf in four short lessons. He was very professional and easy to get along with. I plan on taking more lessons with him to keep my form and improve my game even more ! Mike Vandy
Here is my testimonial---I have tried many different instructors to improve my game. Paul helps me understand the "feel" of the swing, not just the mechanics. I have improved my ball striking. Carl J. Troute.
Paul has been an excellent coach to improve my golfing skills. In a short season I have been able to swing much more comfortable with greater consistency. Paul is very clear in his lessons and does not intimidate or overwhelm me with too much information during the lesson. Yet, each lesson offers something new which helps inspire me with more confidence in my golf game. It is easy to see how much passion and knowledge Paul has for the sport. I look forward to another season of excellent golf instruction from Paul. Justin Lamb
Paul is a student of the game. He understands and can teach all aspects of the game in a concise and clear way. I have played golf since I was a child. I have been with other instructors over the past several years with no success. Between an injury and a series of bad habits, Paul has been able to take my swing that was a mess to a single digit handicap. He has been creative and persistent to find a way to get me to break old bad habits and ultimately improve my game. I still have a lot of work to do, but my game is improving with each lesson. Eric J. Chappell, CMPE CEO
Paul's teaching method is excellent. No matter what your handicap, Paul breaks your swing down to fundamentals and explains their purpose in a way that is both easy to understand and to recall when you are on the course. Paul is also very professional. Always on time and organized. He always sent me reminder texts of each upcoming lesson. My recommendation is to sign up for his four one-hour lessons package deal. The price is right and it is great to be able and come back to him a few times so he can fine tune your swing after practicing on your own a few times between lessons. I watched Paul instructing two older gentlemen on the driving range at Indian Tree Golf Course a few times while I was practicing and realized how much my swing was differing from what he was teaching. Alot of his instruction made sense and after seeing the improvements of these two Brothers I signed up for the five lesson package with him. My first lesson was completely different from the current swing pattern I had fallen in to but the way Paul explained it allowed me to both understand why this would be better and how to make this change. I played a round at Heritage after the second lesson and was really struggling until the 7th hole and for whatever reason I urged myself to relax and just trust the swing we had been working on and not think about anything else. From that point forward my game has improved and am now often adding ten to twelve yards diatance on the irons, my aim has improved and accuracy it very noticeable and the drive and wood play is easily showing a 10%+ increase in distance. I will continue to practice what Paul very patiently has exposed me to and would encourage anyone interested in improving their golf swing and ball flight to contact him, as he is able to help what seems to be just about everyone he teaches. I first met Paul when we were paired up in a foursome on a warm February day in 2016. I was amazed how someone close to my size (I’m not a big guy) could hit the ball so far. When I found out he gave lessons, I had to sign up for some. He had his work cut out for him since there were many years of bad habits he had to break. But he has shown much patience with me and it has paid off handsomely.
In the past year, I’ve gone from a bogey golfer to scoring consistently in the low 80s and last week shot a 78. I’ve learned that there is no magic cure to scoring well and that it will take lots of practice on your part. But if you’re willing to put forth the effort, Paul will help you achieve your goal. I’m convinced you can’t learn the golf swing on your own - you need an instructor like Paul to guide and teach you.
I’ve completed several series of lessons with Paul, but will continue with more and look forward to making more improvement to my game with Paul's help. If you’re looking for some help with your golf swing, I highly recommend him. Tony Fernandez
I have had three instructors in my life and Paul is a great instructor. His ability to explain swing changes and the benefits of those changes is one reason I felt confident in his ability to make me a better player. We covered full-swing, chipping and pitching and each lesson markedly improved my game.
Instruction is only beneficial if you practice, and Paul really encourages his students to practice, practice, practice. He can give you the tools to build a complete golf game but you still need to put in the effort to improve. I feel I have the tools to be a better player thanks to Paul. Jason Peckman
Paul is an excellent golf teacher. He could spot the problems I was having quickly and helped me correct them with clear and concise instructions. He would give me one thing to work on at a time and not overwhelm me with too many suggestions at a time! My game improved by 15 strokes after working with Paul. I would recommend him to anyone looking for golf lessons! Joni Anderson
“I have been a recreational golfer for over 10 years. I joined a league two summers ago and became addicted to the game. In the middle of this season, I completely lost my swing. I couldn’t drive the ball or hit my irons like I used to...sometimes, not at all. I was referred to Paul and began taking weekly lessons.
I am a big fan of the way he teaches. He didn’t just fix my problem, he started with the fundamentals and built a strong foundation. My first lesson, Paul fixed my grip. The next time, I learned the correct stance, and I slowly began learning how to swing my irons again...one at a time.
Paul is patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. I probably would have quit the game if he didn’t help me. By the end of this summer, I was hitting my 6 iron 180-200 yards!! Looking forward to next season and more lessons with Paul!! Becca Bryan
Paul has been coaching my son for several years. I have never seen a coach with so much patience and skill. When Anthony started golf, he had only a handful of golf lessons under his belt. Paul is a master at the gentleman’s sport.
He has taught Anthony all of the staples needed to play the game correctly. Paul really works at perfecting the basics and the proper golf techniques before jumping into the game. Anthony does range lessons as well as what is called a playing which is basically a par 3.
Golf teaches you life skills such as patience and and perseverance. Paul can help your child or even you to build those life skills through his lessons.
Anthony has been in several sports while in golf and I can honestly say that Paul has been and is currently an outstanding coach. Anthony always has a blast and leaves with a smile. Renée Espinoza
I have taken several lessons from Paul and I am very happy with results so far. He has helped with fixes that are put together in the proper order to achieve success. He is a knowledgeable instructor and easy to work with. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to improve their game. Bruce Jackson
My sons and I, age 9 and 12, take golf lessons from Paul every week and have done so for about a little over a year now and we love it! He's a fantastic golf player, instructor and is just great with my kiddos!! We just love him!! Angle G.
"I came to Paul after 8 years of scrambling my way across golf courses never having taken a lesson. During my first lesson with Paul, I struggled to get the ball in the air. By my fourth lesson, I was not only hitting the ball in the air but hitting longer and straighter than ever before. The few lessons I've had translated to the golf course fast and I've taken around 15-20 strokes off my game and I'm shooting consistently in the 90s now. Few people can play golf well without proper instruction. I'd recommend Paul Gleitz to anyone at any level. Paul can identify your flaws quickly and show you how to remedy them immediately, then give you drills to reinforce what you learn." James Thole
I’m a complete newbie to golf and chose Paul out of a long list of qualified instructors. I had my first lesson, ever, today with Paul and instantly saw / felt a difference my stance, swing and grip. He used a program to highlight my posture to make the necessary corrections and when I followed them, I could actually hit the ball straight. Signing up with Paul for his 4 lesson package. William D.
I have recently started taking lessons from Paul Gleitz. With only 3 lessons under my belt, I feel like their is hope for me to start enjoying the game and striking the ball with confidence. Paul is a patient man and for a 64 year old youngster as myself, this is invaluable. My goal is to consistently score in the mid to low 80’s and I’m confident Paul will get me their! Bradley
Paul took an excellent approach to fundamentally changing my golf swing. While I was hoping for a different diagnosis to both restore length and add accuracy to my shots, Paul's step by step approach allowed for some improvement with each step, a very important psychological result! Tom Wolf
Paul is the BEST there is! I was looking for someone patient, fun, and talented and he is all of that and more. He has made me so much more confident in my golf swing over just a few weeks. His explanations are easy to understand, he emphasizes muscle memory, and he amazes me with the tiny nuanced details he will notice to improve your technique. I always enjoy lessons with him and I'm looking forward to taking more. Alex Huechteman
